About 'Park'
As part of my internship at FKD Studio I was tasked to create a park environment following the architectural visualisation pipeline employed within FKD in 3ds Max.

I began by importing a CAD plan into 3ds Max, created a terrain map for basic elevation, used splines to trace the guide for the different components such as grass, curbs and paths and aligned the splines with the terrain map. Created the base polys/meshes, retopologized and smoothed to fix the terrain, added materials then drew and added where I wanted garden beds.

Created an asset zoo of plants and trees and used object paint to place trees onto the park. I added grass with the forest pack plugin and shrubs with a mix of the forest pack plugin and object paint. Added playground equipment.

Added a sun, sandstone stairs with forest pack, cameras and people into the scene. Rendered whitecards. Added houses to cover up the horizon line in some shots.

Rendered in shots and brought them into Photoshop to edit, replace the sky and sharpen the renders of the people so they don’t look like melting wax with the use of Krea.ai and then took the images into Lightroom.
